CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Six wanted persons were successively arrested by police operatives during separate anti-criminality operations in the different parts of the region recently.
Among the arrested wanted individuals were: the No. 9 Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP), Station level of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) identified as Walter Torres Joaquin, 26, single, Sales Agent, and a resident of Suello Village, Baguio City who was arrested on January 18, 2016 at about 12:30 PM at Abanao Street, Baguio City by the joint tracker teams of City Intelligence Unit, BCPO and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group- Baguio. Joaquin was arrested by virtue of a Warrant issued by Judge Cecilia Corazon Dulay-Archog of Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 6, Baguio City for Qualified Theft with a recommended bail of P 60,000.00; while John Rae Nimer Javier, 23, single, tricycle driver, and resident of barangay Nalsian, Manaoag, Pangasinan was arrested on January 18, 2016 at about 12:00 NN by the tracker team of Station 7, BCPO at barangay Poblacion, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. Mr. Javier was arrested by virtue of a Warrant issued by Judge Cecilia Corazon S. Dulat-Archog of First Judicial Region, RTC Branch 6, Baguio City, for Qualified Theft with a recommended bail of P100,000.00.
Another arrest was identified as Jones Dacasin Wong, 44, married, driver, who was arrested at his residence at Purok 3, Ambiong Road, Aurora Hill, Baguio City on January 18, 2016 at about 8:20 AM by the tracker team of Station 2, BCPO by virtue of Warrant issued by Judge Cecilia Corazon S.Dulay-Archog of First Judicial Region, RTC Branch 6, for Violation of Sec. 18(a), 19(a) and (b), and 22(a) in relation to Sec. 28(e) of Republic Act (RA) 8282 (Social Security Act of 1997) with recommended bail of P10,000.00.
Moreover, tracker team of the Buguias Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested Paul Inway Dinangwatan at No. 9, Vegetable Buying Station, Invat Compound, Bambang, Nueva Viscaya for carnapping on January 19, 2016 at about 2:00 PM.
Arjon Guinsoy Tiwtiwen was arrested in Sitio Buhao, Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet by the tracker team of Itogon MPS for frustrated homicide on January 19, 2016 at about 10:30 AM.
Sanyo Basing-at Bonggawon was arrested in Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City, Kalinga by the tracker team of the Tabuk City Police Office for rape on January 19, 2016 at about 9:10 AM.
Chief Superintendent Ulysses G. Abellera, acting regional director of the Police Regional Ofice (PRO) in the Cordillera, commended the operatives for the successful arrests of the wanted persons in the region. He also added that this notable accomplishment not only signifies the dedication of the PROCOR personnel to their sworn duties, but also of the firm resolve of the PNP organization to ensure that fugitives of the law must be arrested for justice.
