The City Council, during last Monday’s regular session, approved a resolution commending and congratulating Jobert Doctolero for placing 6th during the penology officers examination last April 24, 2022.
In a resolution, city legislators stated that Doctolero, who hails from barangay Pucsusan, graduated with the course Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Baguio Central University, garnered 6th place in the penology officers examination.
Earlier, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), conducted the penology officers examination for qualified applicants who want to join the jail management service of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The aforesaid examination was conducted last April 24, 2022 at various testing centers in Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), CARAGA, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and was administered by the CSC.
The council pointed out that passing the said examination will grant an individual second-level eligibility, which can be used in applying to the BJMP as a Jail Officer 1 for them to be able to serve the government as jail management and penology officers.
According to the council, the achievement of Doctolero continues to bring pride and honor to the city being a major producer of top caliber jail officers wanting to serve the interest of the organization like the BJMP.
