CALANASAN, Apayao – The Apayao Training Center (ATC) of the provincial government, in collaboration with the municipal government held a mass graduation ceremony at Calanasan Sports and Cultural Center on August 9, 2024 for a total of 70 yApayao scholars.
The graduates underwent the Driving NC II and Cake Making courses, two batches for the driving course and one batch for cake making, and formally received their Certificate of Completion.
During the celebration, Jerome Lacambra, OIC ATC Administrator, spearheaded the confirmation of graduates.
Lacambra reminded them of their role as public servants to make government programs and services accessible to all yApayaos, likewise announcing another two lined-up skills training to begin in the municipality for the upcoming weeks.
Donato Balag, a representative of Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr., conveyed the assurance of the governor to help support the refining of the technical skills of yApayaos, focusing on long-term goals for employment opportunities and livelihood prospects.
Meantime, Sangguniang Bayan Member Naville Taccalan, representing Hon. Shamir M. Bulut encouraged the graduates to pursue their journey with purpose and to grab the opportunity to chase their ambitions. He also guaranteed that the municipal government remains committed in supporting these programs and initiatives.
The graduates expressed their sincerest gratitude to the leaders of Apayao for bringing this initiative to the municipality. They shared that the program has inspired them to strive further for self-development.
The completers are expected to undergo their National Certification Level II (NC II) assessment from this month through September to be conducted in Calanasan and facilitated by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
This program together with the other government projects, end goal is to improve the lives of our province mates. By Loremia Pareja
