A town councilor from Abra was shot dead at his residence.
Police authorities identified the victim as Isagani Joson, of legal age, married, Municipal Councilor of Lagayan, Abra and resident of Sitio Manaois, Brgy. Poblacion, Lagayan, Abra.
The shooting incident happened at about 7:45 PM of August 8, 2018, at the residence of the victim.
Investigation and hot pursuit operations are still going on when this report was filed.
