BANGUED, Abra – Gov. Eustaquio Bersamin challenged all public servants provincewide for them to emulate the life of St. Francis of Asisi for them to understand how people feel about their services.
Beesamin was the main speaker during the launching of the celebration of civil service month in the province and spoke in the presence of Vice Governor Rosario Charry Bersamin and boardmembers Lee Ann Balbin, Dayag, Dickson, Fontanilla. OIC Provincial Director, S/SUPT. Antonio P. Bartolome. LT. Col. Onorlie Brillantes Group Commander of Tactical Operations Group 1, Philippine Air Force. Captaion Bawa of the 50th Infantry Batallion, 5th Infantry Division Philippine Army. And the different heads of offices.
Governor started up with an inspiration message about St. Francis of Assisi, who challenge herself to live his life like a poor, who became a beggar in order to experience a poor’s life despite being blessed with a wealthy family. The very message is, when you served Governor Takit emphasizes to please do not forget the poor.
He also touched life of a government employee, being at the Civil Service, as the word itself civilized service. All who are in the said field of work must submerge themselves according to what is right in giving the best service to everyone.
Not forgetting the different accomplishments he has done for the province, the governor is much proud in declaring that the province of Abra is one of the 38 provinces out of 80 who will be receiving the Seal of Good Governance this coming anytime. Which he stressed the P7million he will be receiving from this.
He also added this amount will serve as the fund for the Dialysis Center which be put up inside the province. For a plan that Abrenios will no longer go out to have their dialysis session. Much cheeper for evryones part.
He also mentioned about the newly built PDRRMC Office of Abra. If not the Best one of the best PDRMMC Center in Cordillera Administrative Region. It will be inaugurated this 8th Day of October. New office, new facilities and better service for the people of Abra whenever calamity stirkes the province.
He also mentioned one of Abra’s pride, the girl who came from Baniacao Bangued Abra, who did not enter a review center due to lack of financial support from her parents because of poverty, but luckily she passed the PMA entrance examination. Willingness to strive hard to achieve our goal, poverty is never a hindrance. The governor gave as an eye opener for everyone.
At the last part of his message, he shares that he never dreamed to be the governor of Abra, but there he is, doin what the call wants him to do. To help the Abrenios in his simple way. Adding up during his administration, admit it or not, Abra has gone her way to reach the top. And he pleaded everybody to not be afraid, because being afraid means going back.
That Abrebios need to stand up to what is right always, thinking wisely to choose a leader that will unite everybody,the Governor ended up.
