LACUB, Abra – The province’s No. 10 top most wanted person facing frustrated homicide and illegal possession of firearms was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant at Poblacion, here, Tuesday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Jay-ar Reyes Garcia, 29, unemployed and a resident of Poblacion, Lacub, Abra.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Corpuz Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 2 in Bangued for frustrated homicide in relation to violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms Law with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was brought to the Lacub Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
