BONTOC, Mountain Province- A lineup of activities in celebration of the 33rd Civil Registration Month will be spearheaded by the municipal government through the Office of the Municipal Civil Registrar (OMCR) in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), as reported by Municipal Civil Registrar Valentina Domaoa during the 1st quarter Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) meeting recently, at the Municipal Capitol Auditorium.
Domaoa mentioned that the OMCR will be spearheading a motorcade on February 7, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. as a kick-off activity for the month-long celebration.
Further, a Civil Registration Quiz Bee, Poster- and Slogan-Making which will be participated in by students from Saint Vincent’s School Inc., High School Department and Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School on February 8, 2023.
Domaoa added that their office has scheduled a three-day free registration and issuance of birth, marriage, and death certificates from February 21-24, 2023 with the following schedules for the different barangays: upland barangays (Dalican, Mainit, Guina-ang, Maligcong) on February 21; ALBAGO (Alab Oriente, Alab Proper, Balili, Gonogon) on February 22; central Bontoc (Bontoc-Ili, Poblacion, Caluttit, Samoki) on February 23; riverside Barangays ( Talubin, Can-eo, Bayyo, Tocucan) on February 24.
