LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The 2nd Adivay Dancesports Competition Open Invitational ended with a bang last Sunday, November 10 at the Benguet Sports Complex.
Competitors from all over the north participated and won several awards and certificates. The others who competed were La Trinidad Central School, Santiago West Dancesport Team, San Mateo Isabela, Baguio-Benguet Dancesports Team, Alcala Dancesports Team, Latinismo Dancesports Team, Laoag City, Santa Teresita of Cagayan, Villasis of Pangasinan, CREDO Dancesports Team Manila, Urdaneta Dancesports Team, Baguio City National High School and TJS Dancesports Team.
Categories of Solo Juvenile, Solo Youth, Solo Junior, Inter High School, Solo Adult, Youth, Juvenile, Junior, Inter Collegiate, Grade, Open Team Elementary Choreo, and Open Team High School Choreo were included in the whole-day competition.
32 Gold, 24 Silver, and 15 Bronze Medals were awarded to the Top 3 Groups of the competition. Latinismo Dancesports Team of Sison Pangasinan won the 3rd place or 2nd Runner-up with 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. The Baguio-Benguet Dancesports team placed 2nd or 1st Runner-up with 9 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.
The TJS Dancesport Team won 16 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 6 bronze Medals, a whopping 36 awards which earned them the championship title for 2nd Adivay 2024 Dancesports Competition. They all received plaques and cash prizes of PhP3,000 to PhP7,000 .
