TO ALL ASPIRANTS FOR CONGRESSMAN, MAYOR, VICE MAYOR, CITY COUNCILORS OF BAGUIO CITY
Please take note of the following rules:
- COC must be printed back-to-back (LONG BOND or LEGAL SIZED BOND PAPER);
- 5 Copies of COC and CONA must be ORIGINAL COPIES; (KAPAEN MI APO DAGITI SIGNATURES OF ASPIRANT, NOTARY AND SEAL nu adda)
- DOC STAMP OF 30 PESOS should be attached to the 1st copy. The remaining copies shall bear only the doc stamp number;
- Our job to receive may be MINISTERIAL but only when your COC is complete. If your COC is incomplete, we will not receive it.
- During the filing process, maximum of 3 companions will be allowed to proceed in the receiving area. Be ready with your platforms of government. Step 3 at the media booth will be your opportunity to declare your candidacy and present your “plataforma de gobyerno”, if there is any.
- BIR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE ARE NOT REQUIRED;
- Substitution by virtue of withdrawal may only be done during the October 1-8, 2024 period;
- Please make sure that all the details in your COC are true and correct. COMELEC will publish online (through the Comelec website and Comelec social media accounts including Comelec Baguio FB page) your COC’s for public consumption. Items like your physical address, email address, signatures of the aspirant and the notary and id details in the jurat, however, will be redacted for privacy purposes;
- Right after the October 8, 2024 deadline, we will personally deliver your COCs at the Comelec Law Department.
