BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Mountain Province Agricultural Programs Coordinating Office (APCO) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) organized this year’s Provincial Implementers Meeting held at Myrna’s Hall, Samoki, Bontoc, on February 18, 2025.
The meeting was attended by provincial officials, heads and representatives from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Veterinary Office, Office of the Provincial Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Office of the Municipal Agriculturist from the different municipalities and other agriculture stakeholders in the province.
According to Mountain Province Agricultural Programs Coordinating Officer Pedro C. Pinos-an, the activity is a venue for the DA to present its banner programs’ updates and accomplishments and to resolve/ discuss some lapses and concerns in the implementation of DA programs and projects in the different local government units of the province. According to him, the activity aims to further improve the delivery of agricultural services in the province.
Joining the participants were Board Members Henry D. Bastian, Jr. and Ricardo T. Masidong, Jr., who reaffirmed the continuous support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to the different programs and activities of the DA in the province. Bastian also expressed the strong support of Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. to the DA’s strategies and programs for the further development of agriculture in the province. By MP-PIO
