NATONIN, Mountain Province – The Department of Social Welfare and Development-CAR (DSWD-CAR), in partnership with the office of the Lone District Representative of Mountain Province Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr. and the provincial government conducted a payout for beneficiaries of the Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) in Natonin, Mountain Province last November 07, 2024.
According to DSWD-SWAD staff Ceciline S. Baswit, the AKAP fund for Natonin came from Senator Manuel Lito M. Lapid and Dalog, Jr. which benefitted 502 recipients, each receiving five thousand pesos.
Witnessing the payout were Sen. Lito Lapid Representative Caroline Juliet Tibayan, Congressman Dalog’s Representative Florencio Balog-ang, Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr., Vice Governor Francis O. Tauli, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Ezra Samson A. Gomez, Natonin ABC President Henry For-og and Paracelis ABC President Roy Gamonnac.
Lapid further pledged his unending support in providing assistance and programs to further support the development goals of Natonin and the whole of Mountain Province and Cordillera.
“Tuloy po tayong lahat sa pagbibigay lingkod sa mamamayan natin para sa ika-uunlad ng buong bansa,” Lapid said according to Tibayan.
Meanwhile, Governor Lacwasan expressed his gratitude to Senator Lapid, Congressman Dalog, and the DSWD for the assistance they continue to provide for the people of Mountain Province.
