BONTOC, Mountain Province – In its aim to orient stakeholders on recent developments in tax administration and reforms by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the Association of Local Government Accountants of Mountain Province (ALGAMP) will be spearheading a forum at the Multipurpose Building Conference Hall on March 18, 2025 (Tuesday).
In his announcement during the Monday Program, ALGAMP President and Provincial Accountant Theodore B. Marrero urged all provincial government offices to send at least one representative, particularly from the team in charge of the disbursement of government funds, to attend the conference.
According to Marrero, the activity will be conducted by the association together with the local auditors and oversight bodies, to discuss specifically the recently issued Revenue Regulations (RR) numbers 4, 11 and 17 series of 2024.
Moreover, he said that the forum aims to ensure smooth implementation and promote a common understanding or interpretation of the said RRs. Ultimately, the activity aims for an efficient collection of taxes among concerned entities. By MP-PIO
