Alpha-PCM still going strong at 30

BAGUIO CITY – Founders of the Alpha-PCM Inc. cited their local real estate company will continue to strive for the best in the industry following the celebration of their Pearl anniversary and are now focusing their sights on achieving a significant milestone at 50 in the next 20 years.

Engr. Mario R. Alzona, Jr., chairman of the Board of Directors of Alpha-PCM Inc., said the founders of the company which includes Engr. Ernesto ‘Tom’ Panis, are now slowly turning over to their successors the management and operation of the company in order for it to achieve greater heights in the field of the construction industry.

“We were able to hurdle the birth pains of our humble beginnings and we want the company to continue moving on to greater heights with our qualified family members at the helm of our business operations,”Alzona stressed.

For his part, Panis cited their operations over the past 30 years have been characterized to be wavy, thus, the need for strong personalities like them to effectively and efficiently manage the company for it to continue providing quality work for their clients that come from the private sector.

ALPA-PCM, INC. was established in October 3, 1985 with a wide vision of setting the high standard in quality and service to customer.

ALPA-PCM, INC. aims to be one of the leading Engineering Contractors and Real Estate Developers in the country by continuously providing technical services and producing housing need of our homeless Filipino… Thus providing an environment of economic growth and stability and ensure the general welfare of our citizenry.

From 1985 to 2007, the company had developed and sold various real estate projects in Metro Baguio and nearby provinces, i.e. Alpa Ville Loakan Subd., Alpa Ville Tuding Subd., Alpa Ville San Fabian Subd. St. Patrick and Postal Ville in Irisan, Pyramid Memorial Park Phase – I and II in Kias and Pyramid Memorial Park Phase – I in La Trinidad, Benguet, all in Metro Baguio; Pyramid Memorial Park Mangaldan, Fresh Sea Wind Resort in San Fabian, Pangasinan.

The two engineers jointly operated E.C. Panis Construction the predecessors of ALPA-PCM, INC. in 1982, after both partners arrived from a separate employment in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Two years work (1980-1981). The company then was operating on horizontal and vertical construction and some of its major accomplishments were the construction of two cadet barracks of the Philippine Military Academy, Multi-Purpose, Recreational Center in Balatoc Mines and the various billion peso project at Antamok Mines both owned by Benguet Corp., where the company was one of the key players in the construction of the Mill Plant.

With the retirement of the two main principals of Alpa Pcm, Inc. last 2013, to continue the corporation mandate and objective, the two sons of Mario R. Alzona Jr. and Ernesto C. Panis will/had assured the responsibility, beginning January 2013, of the company President (Mark Stephen Alzona) and VP Admin (Rexie Panis). MRA will still be the chairman of the board while ECP shall be the EVP for Finance & Legal matters.
