Ang SSS Calamity Assistance Program (CLAP) SA panahon ng pandemya

Abril pa lamang ay inaabangan na ng mga miyembro kung ano pang tulong pinansyal ang maaaring maibigay ng SSS. Kaya’t napakagandang balita sa lahat ng ating miyembro na binuksan na ng SSS ang Calamity Loan Assistance Program (CLAP) upang magbigay ng dagdag ayuda sa ating mga miyembrong naapektuhan ng kasalukuyang sitwasyon bunsod ng corona virus disease 2019 (CoVID-19).

Nitong Lunes, June 15, 2020, ay binuksan na nga ng SSS ang CLAP na magtatapos hanggang sa September 14, 2020. Online application ito kaya importante na may sariling account sa My.SSS ang bawat miyembro. Maaaring mag-avail dito ang mga miyembrong may hindi bababa sa 36 buwang kontribusyon, anim rito ay dapat naipost sa huling 12 buwan bago ang buwan ng pagpa-file ng kanilang application. Dapat ay permanenteng residente din ng Pilipinas, ibig sabihin nito ay may tirahan o trabaho dito sa bansa at hindi pa tumatanggap ng anumang final benefit claims tulad ng permanent total disability o retirement. Maaari ring mag-apply ang mga miyembrong may salary loan basta’t regular nila itong binabayaran. Subalit, hindi naman kwalipikado sa CLAP ang mga miyembrong may outstanding loan balance sa ilalim ng Loan Restructuring Program (LRP) at nagdaang mga CLAP.

Ang halaga ng calamity loan ay katumbas ng isang monthly salary credit (MSC) na ang computation ay batay sa average ng huling 12 MSC. Halimbawa, kung nag-file ng CLAP ang miyembro ngayong June 2020, titingnan ang hulog niya mula April 2019 hanggang May 2020. Kukunin ang average MSC at ito ang magiging halaga ng loan proceeds na matatanggap ng miyembro. Maaari ring aprubahan ang halagang inilagay ng miyembro sa kaniyang application basta’t mas mababa ito sa average MSC.

Samantala, maaaring matanggap ang CLAP sa pamamagitan ng tseke, UMID Card na may ATM features, o Unionbank Quick Card.

Babayaran ang Calamity Loan sa loob ng 27 buwan, kasama na rito ang tatlong buwang moratorium. Ang loan amortization ay magsisimula naman sa ika-apat na buwan matapos maaprubahan ang salary loan application. Halimbawa, kung naaprubahan ngayong June ang Calamity Loan ng miyembro, magsisimula lamang siyang magbayad sa buwan ng September 2020. Paalala lamang sa miyembro dahil may ipinapataw pa rin na anim na porsyentong interes kada taon para dito.

Ang CLAP ay isa ring espesyal na pribilehiyo na hatid ng SSS sa ating mga miyembro sa panahon na gaya nito. Kaya naman lagi kong binabanggit sa aking column na napakahalaga ang paghuhulog ng kontribusyon sa takdang oras para siguradong kwalipikado ang bawat miyembro sa mga benepisyo at pribilehiyo ng SSS.

Hindi man pangmatagalan ang tulong pinansyal na ito ngunit naniniwala ang SSS na malaking bagay ito para matugunan ang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan ng ating mga miyembro. Dalangin namin na sana ay mabawasan kahit paano ang hirap na nararanasan ng ating mga kababayan lalo na ang mga nawalan ng trabaho, mga pamilyang dumami ang mga gastusin matapos ang dalawang buwang community quarantine, at mga empleyadong balik-opisina sa kabila ng limitadong pampublikong transportasyon.

Matapos aprubahan ang Calamity Loan, inaasahan ang mga miyembro na bayaran ang monthly amortization sa takdang oras para maiwasang magkaroon ng multa na isang porsyento sa bawat late payment at maka-avail muli kayo ng loan sa SSS.

Isa pang mabuting balita mula sa SSS! Muling pinalawig ang contribution payment deadlines para sa unang quarter ng taon hanggang June 30, 2020. Sakop nito ang lahat ng Household Employers, Voluntary, Self-Employed at Non-Working Spouse members. Extended din maging ang contribution payment deadline ng Regular Employers hanggang June 30, 2020 para bayaran ang kontribusyon ng kanilang mga empleyado para sa buwan ng February, March, at April 2020.

Para sa mga miyembrong aktibo sa social media, i-follow ang nag-iisang opisyal na Facebook page ng SSS, ang Philippine Social Security System. Dito kami nagpo-post ng mga opisyal na anunsyo at guidelines tungkol sa mga kasalukuyang programa at serbisyo ng SSS. Samantala, beripikahin muna sa mga legitimate sources ang anumang post na nagbibigay diumano ang SSS ng mga cash allowances kada miyembro o kaya’y raffle para sa bahay at lupa, sasakyan at iba pa. Kahit kailan ay hindi nagbibigay ang SSS ng mga ganyang promotions o pa-contest.
