BAGUIO CITY – The Ibagiw Festival has officially closed with the celebration of the Anido Night last November 24 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Hall.
An awarding ceremony recognized winners of the various contests conducted during the Ibagiw Festival. The winner of the arts and craft (kids category) is Ciel Kristine Caoli. Mary Jane Greneblazo came in second place and Elisha Dave Añonuevo came in third place. The winner of the arts and crafts (teen category) is Liam Chase Dapag. Hinterly Grace Abes Cawis came in second place while Odyssey Menis came in third place.
The organizers also handed out special awards. Yvette Fay Cajalne won Bookends Special Price. Miah Laciste Labsan won the Pasa-kalye Special Prize.
The government also recognized the contributors to the success of the Ibagiw festival. Under the Imagineers, artists, artisans, content providers, creative workers, and creators received a certificate of recognition.
The Artists are Leslie Dulfo, Gilbert Rafer, Napoleon Rafer, Mhargrette Dela Crus-Gomez, Robelyn Gurang, Rose Ann Carantes, Joy Tabanda, Rochelle Bakisan, Tymber Aldaine, and Marlou Na-oy. The Artisans are Carla Taawan, Johnny Bangao Jr. Pearl Asencio, Bernadette Nierves, Jullienne Paran, Charlyn Presco, Adelaide Guia and Leo Tiukeng. The Content Providers are Leizel Dunuan and Kyle Jon Tultog The Creative Workers are Paula Bayao and Mary Jennette Molintas.The Creators were Clint Tayanan, Paula Bayao, Art Tibaldo and Rommel Marcelo.
In the Naked City, the curator and artists received a certificate of recognition.
The Curator was Rocky Acofo Cajigan. The Artists were Zamae Pacleb, Tommy Hafalla, Sultan Mag-osan, Sela Gonzales, Ruben Domingo, Randy Bulayo, Oliver Olivete, Nona Garcia, Naidra, Magenta, Mervine Aquino, Benjamin Meamo III, Faye Olayo, Martin Allama, Leonard Aguinaldo, Kawayan De Guila, John Frank Sabado, Jem Delos Reyes, Gail Vicente, Eddie De Guzman, Dehon Taguyungon, Bong Sanchez, Andrea Lucido.
The Creative Crawl recognized the restaurants that took part in the event. These are Amare La Cucina, Le Chef at the Manor, Canto Bogchi Joint, Chaya, The Gallery by Witchcraft, Gypsy Baguio by Chef Waya, Curious Coffee Co. at 61 Lodge, Rebel Bakehouse, L’atelier Du Grain, Oh My Gulay and Mountain Man.
The Anido night started off with the Retobar Street Fashion Show.
