LUNA, Apayao – “We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for providing Starlink to our institution. Your generous contribution has revolutionized our educational environment and opened a world of possibilities for our students,” wrote DepEd Tayo Cadaclan Integrated School (IS) on its official Facebook page after receiving its internet connection through the Starlink Internet provided by the provincial government.
“With Starlink, our school now has access to high-speed internet connectivity, enabling our students to engage in online learning, research, and collaboration like never before. This technology has leveled the playing field and empowered our students to explore, learn, and grow in ways that were previously unimaginable,” added Cadaclan IS.
Barangay Cadaclan is one of Calanasan’s most remote areas. With the introduction of high-speed internet, a new era in Cadaclan IS has ushered in, heralding connectivity and opportunity. This technological upgrade has leveled the playing field as it empowers students to engage and connect with their peers within the province, across the region, the country, and globally. This exposure to boundless resources forwards unprecedented growth and development among the students, paving the way for a brighter future.
Governor Elias C. Bulut, Jr. pioneered this revolutionary project with a clear vision of bridging the digital divide among learners.
Recognizing the disparity in access to information faced by these students in remote areas compared to their counterparts in the more developed or urban areas, Gov. Bulut and the provincial government began equipping schools like Cadaclan IS with internet connectivity, ensuring equal opportunities for all learners.
“I want to make sure that no yApayao learner will be left behind,” said Gov. Bulut. By JCM
