LUNA, Apayao – The provincial government is honoring its fatherly employees with a dedicated week-long celebration.
From June 24 to June 28, Father’s Week will be observed to pay tribute to the important role fathers play within the provincial government, expressing gratitude for their contributions to both their families and the community.
Organized by the Human Resource Management Division, Father’s Week aims to promote a healthy work-life balance and highlight the importance of paternal involvement in child-rearing.
The event features engaging activities and memorable events designed to adopt a nurturing environment within the workplace.
The week commenced with a special recognition ceremony at Aliwa Gymnasium, where Provincial Administrator Atty. Edmar Pascua conveyed appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the fatherly employees. He emphasized the significant impact of fatherhood on shaping children’s lives and commended the fathers for balancing their roles as public servants with their responsibilities to their families.
Throughout the week, the provincial government has planned various events, including a basketball and volleyball tournament involving fatherly employees from clustered departments, to further celebrate and recognize their contributions. By HENT
