LUNA, Apayao – The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) began a three-day refresher seminar for Provincial Security Guards on December 4, 2024, at the Camp EKB, Apayao Police Provincial Office in Sta Lina, Luna.
Around fifty seven (57) Provincial Security Guards (PSG’s) in Apayao actively participated in the said refresher seminar which ran for three days.
The Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA) recognizes the essential role that security guards play in ensuring the safety and protection of the public facilities, institutions, and private properties, and thus the need for the activity to keep the personnel updated.
Security guards serve as the first line of defense in safeguarding assets and individuals from potential threats, making their proper training vital.
The seminar is a response to lack in adequate training of security personnel in areas such as emergency responses, communication, and personal protection. Said seminar is aligned with the provincial government’s goal of creating a safer and more secure environment for all constituents while fostering a higher standard of service to the people.
