ASIPULO, Ifugao – The town’s No. top most wanted person facing more than eight murder and frustrated murder charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on various warrants in his hideout at Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya, Friday.
Senior Superintendent Constancio Chinayog, Jr., officer-in-charge of the Ifugao Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Freddie Guinungo Monguiho alias Fred, Bibo, 25, and a resident of Sitio Ting-ay, Cawayan, Asipulo, Ifugao who is said to be a member of the News Peoples Army (NPA) Nona del Rosario command operating in the province.
He was arrested by some eight warrants of arrest issued by Judge Romeo U. Habiling of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 in Lagawe for murder and frustrated murder.
The arrested person was involved in the ambushes at Sitio Maloy, Cawayan on February 26, 2011 and Sitio Binablayan-Liwon, Amduntog, Asipulo, Ifugao on September 12, 2011 that led to the killing of government troops.
He was subsequently brought to the Asipulo Municipal Police Station for documentation and debriefing prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the cases filed against him.
