BANGUED, Abra – A 29-year old jobless man facing attempted murder charges voluntarily surrendered to TV 5 station based in Mandaluyong City recently.
Senior Superintendent Antonio Bartolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the surrenderee as Jomar Beljamin Bergonia, 29, single, unemployed and a resident of barangay Consiliman, Zone 2, Bangued, Abra.
The said individual has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Judge Corpus Alzate of the Regional Trial court (RTC) Branch 2 for attempted murder with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
He was fetched by elements of the Bangued Municipal Police Station from the Mandaluyong City Police Office and was brought to the local police headquarters for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
