City officials recently congratulated and commended Inigo Anton for winning the Rookie Champion at the F4 Australian Championships held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia last September 7, 2024.
In a resolution authored by Councilor John Rhey L. Mananeng, local legislators stated that the young Anton serves as an inspiration for aspiring individuals wanting to enter the world of F4 racing and people striving for excellence in their respective endeavors.
Earlier, the Baguio-based car racer was achieved a significant milestone in his career by winning the esteemed title of Rookie Champion at the F4 Australian Championships held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia last September 7, 2024.
Anton is a student of the University of Baguio (UB) and the son of car racer Carlos Anton and businesswoman Karen Navarrete Anton.
The council claimed that Anton’s achievement not only showcases his personal excellence in the field of car racing but also brought honor and pride to the city as a home of world class car racers that excel in local, regional, national and international competitions.
Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to Anton and the UB administration for information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. By Dexter A. See
