Baguio City Jins heave a total 38 medals in Batang Pinoy Luzon-Leg

MALOLOS BULACAN – Baguio City Taekwon Do Jins heaved a total of 38 medals in the recently concluded Batang Pinoy Luzon Leg Taekwondo Championships held last July 18-23, 2015 at the Robinsons Place in Malolos City, Bulacan, who participated in the Poomsae (form) events, and Individual Sparing (Kyorugi) events.

The Baguio Taekwondo delegates who came from three Taekwondo gyms namely; Baguio Defenders, YMCA-UFC, and GB Taekwondo. The Baguio Taekwondo Jins bested their opponents in the Group Poomsea or (Forms) event, Pair Poomsea event and Individual Poomsea to bring home a total of 7 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 8 bronze medals.

The Baguio Taekwondo Jins also topped their opponents in the Individual Sparing (Kyorugi) evnts  to add their medal haul by winning 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals. The Baguio City Taekwondo delegation under the care of Coach Melvin Morte, Arnold Oglayon and Gilbert Balancar also brought home the Cadet Boys Division Championship, Cadet Girls Division Championship to take home the bacon as the Batang Pinoy Luzon Leg Over all Champions.
