City officials recently congratulated and commended Police Lt. Col. Baldwin F. Sokoken, Jr. for being adjudged and awarded as the Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration during the 123rd Police Service Anniversary at the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City last August 8, 2024.
In a resolution authored by Councilor Benny O. Bomogao, local legislators stated that the local government recognizes and applauds P/Lt. Col. Sokoken for his valuable contribution and accomplishments as the Deputy City Director for Administration of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
The police officer served as the BCPO City Deputy City Director for Administration from January 24 to June 16, 2024 leading to numerous administrative achievements for the local police force and eventually awarded as the Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration during the 123rd Police Service anniversary at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City last August 8, 2024.
Some of his accomplishments during his tenure as Deputy City Director for Administration are on administrative accomplishments, 1st highly urbanized city police office nationwide to be conferred with the Performance Governance System institutionalized status and consistent outstanding performance of BCPO administration; Logistics and Supply Accomplishments, acquisition of land for BCPO Station No. 9, inventory and maintenance of mobility, firearms and communication equipment and ranking of UPER of BCPO-LSS within PRO-COR and Capacity Building Accomplishments, empowered and skilled police force and upholding the standards of disciplined police force.
He was also a recipient of nine Medalya ng Kasanayan among other related recognitions from concerned government agencies and the PNP.
