Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Baguio City police operatives in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Baguio, nabbed two suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Baguio City on April 12 and 13, 2021.
Audrey Emilson Bayacsan Gonzagan aka Drey, 27, was nabbed after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 0.3 gram worth Php 2,000.00 to an operative of BCPO – Abanao Police Station (PS-7) who posed as a buyer at Rizal Park, Baguio City on April 12, 2021.
The drug evidence and recovered buy-bust money were inventoried on-site witnessed by Prosecutor Noel Vergara, Kagawad Gerry Manuel of Rizal Monument Barangay and Mr. Charles Niko Limon of Regional News Group (RNG).
Meanwhile, in San Luis Village Barangay, a delivery rider identified as Niko Adam Balatbat Cereno, 26, was nabbed after selling one sachet of suspected shabu weighing about 0.5 grams worth Php 3,400.00 to the undercover operative of BCPO Naguilian Road (PS-1) on April 13, 2021.
Seized from the suspect during the buy-bust were a cellular phone; his Driver’s License; a motorcycle and buy-bust money used in the transaction. These were inventoried on-site duly witnessed by Pros. Don Emmanuel Vergara, Brgy. San Luis Village Kagawad Wandagan Marzan and Janice Denis of Bombo Radio.
Further, cases for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being prepared for Inquest Proceeding against the suspects.
