City officials congratulated and commended Nikko dela Cruz Liberato and J.C. heart Kitong Cariño of the University of Baguio–School of Dentistry for placing third and fourth, respectively, in the recently concluded May 2023 licensure examination for dentists.
In a proposed resolution, local legislators stated that Liberato and Cariño serve as inspiration to those who wish to become dentists and not only did they make their families and school proud but also the entire city as well being the education center of the north that have consistently produced topnotchers in various licensure examinations through the years.
Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 691 out of 1,479 examinees passed the May 2023 licensure examination for dentists given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this May 2023.
Liberato and Cariño, both of the UB School of Dentistry, placed 3rd and 4th in the list of the top 10 successful examinees who garnered the highest scores in the licensure examination.
Based on the results released by the PRC, Liberato garnered 82.70 percent while Carino earned a score of 82.54 percent.
The council stipulated that it is noteworthy to commend their Alma Mater, UB School of Dentistry, which had been producing topnotch dentists since 1984.
