BAGUIO CITY – A 28-year-old individual was apprehended by the operatives of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO)-Police Station 7 in a manhunt operation held on November 4, 2024, in Lower General Luna in the city.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Ruel D Tagel, BCPO City Director, the individual, alias “Boy,” is a native of San Juan, Iloilo City. He is listed as a Top Most Wanted Person at different levels in Western Visayas: top 8 at the Regional Level under Police Regional Office 6, top 8 at the City Level of Iloilo, and top 3 at the Station Level of Station 4, Iloilo City.
Boy is set to answer charges against him for violations of the different provisions of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Violations include the selling and possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Coordination with Iloilo City Police Station 4 is already underway for the transfer of the accused to Iloilo City.
Other units involved in the successful arrest include members of the BCPO City Investigation and Detective Management Unit, City Intelligence Unit, investigation and intelligence units of PRO-CAR, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, and Iloilo City Police Station 4.
The Philippine National Police’s e-Warrant System played a critical role in this arrest.

As Tagel highlighted, “Through the e-Warrant System and the continued cooperation of police units, we are broadening our reach to make certain that even the most elusive offenders are brought to justice, and to ensure every corner of the country remains safe and secure.
