BAKUN, Benguet – The town’s three top most wanted persons facing attempted murder charges were successively arrested in their respective hideouts in Apayao and Kalinga recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the three wanted persons as Jayson Salagan Albano, 24, single, farmer; Lowie Batore Manera, 21, single, farmer, both residents of Barangay Ban-ban, Conner, Apayao; and Jomar Salagan Albano, 21, single, farmer, a resident of Ban-ban, Conner, Apayao.
The three individuals were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Sergio Angnganay, acting Judge of the Regional Trial court (RTC) Branch 64 in Buguias, Benguet for attempted murder with a recommended bail bond of P120,000 each for their temporary liberty.
At about 4:00 AM, Jayson Salagan Albano and Lowie Batore Manera were arrested at their respective residents while Jomar Salagan Albano was arrested at about 9:00 AM in Callagdao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
The arrested individuals, who were listed as Bakun’s No. 4, 5 and 6 top most wanted persons, were brought to the Bakun Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against them.
