BAGUIO CITY- Part of the 106th Baguio City Charter celebrations was the conduct of the “MR. BAGUIO” Nick Domalsin Bodybuilding Cup held September 4, 2015 at the Baguio Convention Center at 6:30 in the evening graced by Vice Mayor Edison Bilog as guest of honor and speaker who elucidated the purpose of the bodybuilding tilt as well as a bit of history of the sport in Baguio City as founded and mentored by the late Baguio City Councilor Nick Domalsin.

Some sixty three participants participated in the bodybuilding tilt from the different fitness gyms in Baguio City and Benguet to add gyms from Pangasinan, Pampanga, Ilocos, Isabela, and Manila to vie for the title MR. BAGUIO 2015, in five divisions, Novice, Flyweight, Bantam, Open, and Masters Division to include a post-down of all division champions to vie for the over-all title.

Following the judges’ score cards composed of four male and a female judge on the final comparisons for the title, Baguio City local police officer PO3 Edwardo C. Balabag of the Baguio City Police assigned at Station 8 at Camp 7, was named MR. BAGUIO 2015. Balabag who takes time to exercise in three local gyms in the City as a bodybuilder represented NCH, Jhonny D. Uy, and Intense Fitness gyms.
