BALBALAN, Kalinga – The No. 1 and No. 2 top most wanted persons in the municipality were successively arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for attempted murder in their residences at sitio Bassao, Tawang, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted persons as Teddy Gumaboy y Wangdayan, 43, single, farmer, and Marcelino Gumaboy Dangilan, 30, single, farmer, both residents of Sitio Bassao, Barangay Tawang Balbalan,Kalinga.
The duo was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Neiljoe Cortes of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City for attempted murder with a still undisclosed bail for their temporary liberty.
The arrested individuals were brought to the Balbalan Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against them.
