BAGUIO CITY – A 40-year old man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for rape in his alleged hideout at Kadaclan Village, here, Tuesday morning.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Levihope Tucdaan Numbanal, 40, married and a native of Banaue, Ifugao, who is presently resident at Kadaclan Village, Loakan Apugan, Baguio City.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Esther Flor of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 in Lagawe, Ifugao for rape with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
Aside from being the No. 2 top most wanted person in Banaue, the suspect is also the No. 1 target of the Oplan Lambat Sibat of the police in the said municipality.
The arrested individual was subsequently brought to the Banaue Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
