BAGUIO CITY – Baguio Country Club (BCC) marked its 120th anniversary on February 18, 2025, with a series of grand festivities, including a Thanksgiving Mass, cultural performances, a dove release, a cocktail party, and a grand raffle. The celebration continues with the BCC Super Centennial Grand Parade on February 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
Looking ahead, BCC is gearing up for a major expansion. “We plan to add retirement homes, a hospitality management and culinary school, an all-suite hotel, and a diagnostic center,” said Andrew Pinero, Corporate Communications and Customer Services Manager. “These projects will prioritize environmental sustainability.”
BCC has already started integrating smart technology into its facilities. Last year, the club introduced its first smart room, powered by Alexa voice commands. “Right now, we have one smart room, but we plan to upgrade more in the future,” Pinero added.
Digital transformation is also a priority. The Sales, Marketing, and Events Division is developing an event-booking app that will allow customers to reserve venues, choose menus, and plan events with ease. “Our goal is to make event planning as seamless as possible,” said Pinero. Online consultations are already available, and more features will be added soon.
Despite 120 years of history, BCC remains committed to innovation and top-tier service. “We want to continue providing exceptional experiences for generations to come,” Pinero emphasized. By Meann Henderson
