LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Residents of over 20 households in Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet, can now look forward to a reliable and sustainable source of clean water with the completion of the newly implemented domestic waterworks system project.
This initiative, which is part of the healthier Benguet agenda of Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, was funded and implemented by the Provincial Government of Benguet.
The project involved the construction of two water tanks and installation of a water pump system and over three kilometers of water pipes from the water source. The domestic waterworks project was identified as one of the priority projects by the barangay local government.
The completion of this project will not only provide the residents with a dependable source of clean water but also ease their daily lives by eliminating the need for water delivery from distant sources.
The successful implementation of this project is part of the government’s commitment to improving the lives of its constituents, particularly those in remote communities.
The Provincial LGU has been implementing waterworks projects in the province, benefiting farmers and the community as a whole, and continues to work with stakeholders and other agencies towards more sustainable and innovative initiatives that will benefit the people and promote the development of the province.
