BAGUIO CITY June 02 – A 35-year old nurse of the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC), the only accredited sub-national testing laboratory in Northern Luzon, as the city’s 35th Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) 2019 case after testing positive for the deadly virus.
Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong said that the male nurse is a resident of South Central, Aurora Hill and is now in stable condition in local health facility.
He immediately ordered the conduct of aggressive dis-infection and contact tracing of the patient’s contacts as well as proper patient management to prevent the further spread of the disease.
Earlier, a 28-year old store manager of a local supermarket who resides in City Camp Central and a 25-year old male resident of Poliwes, Apugan and who are both asymptomatic were the latest confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city late Sunday night.
