SABLAN, Benguet – Blessing and Inauguration of the new Patient Transport Vehicle and the Alternate Access Road to and from the Municipal Hall of the Municipality of Sablan, Benguet performed one significant activity prior to the utilization of two of our public properties in the municipality, that of the newly acquired patient transport vehicle we have accustomed to calling “ambulance” and the newly constructed access road leading to our municipal hall and its premises.
The vehicle was endowed to our LGU by PCSO thru the concerted efforts of the LGU administration and other local and national authorities, the access road was funded from our very own Municipal Development Fund (MDF) coined years back but just recently got to fruition.
The needed signages and significant markings along the junction of the road with the national highway were requested from the DPWH, hence their presence, too.
Fr. Rolly P. Buasen, of Immaculate Conception Parish – Sablan, Benguet, officiated the blessing of the said public utilities which was also graced by Engr. Henry Apostol for DPWH-Benguet Dist. 1 and a number of barangay officials. They joined the municipal officials and employees led by both Mayor Alfredo B. Dacumos Jr. and Vice Mayor Arthur C. Baldo in the conduct of this activity. A brief ceremonial program followed the blessing rites. By DA’JAT SABLAN
