Unidentified suspects forcibly entered the room of two boarders in La Trinidad and carted some of their personal belongings.
The incident happened on August 16, 2018 between 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM at MA 36 Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Investigation disclosed that at about 12:00 AM of August 15, 2018, complainants Jubilardy Kibasen Gapate,18, and Brille Keisser Aplod Espada, 19, both resident boarders of Room 9, 3rd floor of said address, went to Baguio City and returned at about 4:00 AM of same date only to discover that the padlock of their room on the floor and that its door was opened.
Upon entering their room, they saw their personal belongings scattered on the floor and the following items are missing: one HP laptop colored Grey with undetermined amount; one white Adidas shoes worth Php4,500.00; one Lee maong pants worth Php2,300.00; one Jag maong jacket worth Php2,300.00; one maroon/brown back pack worth Php4,500.00 containing the school ID; wrist watch; one necklace with undetermined amount; and cash amounting to Php1,500.00.
The IOC processed the crime scene but no latent print was lifted.
The CCTV installed at the area was requested for viewing for the possible identification of the suspect/s. The case is for follow-up investigation.
