BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Municipal Government of Bontoc is denying the news that the municipality is under lockdown.
This after municipal government issued an advisory emphasizing that the Bontoc Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force did not issue any notice or advisory that the Municipality of Bontoc in locked down.
The Bontoc local government also reiterated that advisories with regard to the quarantine status of the municipality will be posted only in its official Facebook page.
Lastly, residents and concerned citizens are being advised to refrain from posting and sharing fake news or misinformation about the municipality being under lockdown and encouraged to become part of the solution for the dissemination of accurate and timely information.
