BONTOC, Mountain Province – Mayor Jerome B. Tudlong, Jr. expressed his appreciation to the Provincial Government for its financial support for the acquisition of a decomposition machine during his 2025 State of the Municipality Address.
According to Tudlong, the Provincial Government through the leadership of Governor Bonifacio C. Lacwasan, Jr. and with the appropriate action of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Vice Governor Francis O. Tauli has allotted an amount of three million pesos as an additional fund for the procurement of an Ultra High Temperature Thermal Decomposition Machine.
“I would like to thank the Provincial Government because di kurang ti pundo mi ket kunan piman ni apo Governor nga ‘nayunak ti additional three million.’ This acquisition is part of a partnership with the Provincial Government of Mountain Province,” Tudlong said.
The said decomposition machine, as explained by the Mayor, is beneficial in breaking down and treating solid waste materials into compost; therefore, preventing the release of harmful substances into the environment.
On behalf of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Vice Governor Tauli and Gomez expressed their continuing support to the programs of Governor Lacwasan especially on climate change adaptation programs as the latter underlined in his State of the Province Address last January 20, 2025.
Meanwhile, Provincial Information Officer Novy R. Afidchao joined Vice Governor Tauli and Board Member Gomez in representing the Provincial Government during the Mayor’s SOMA. By Hail, MP
