BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Bontoc Local Government Unit (LGU) through the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAg) spearheaded the Agro-Industrial Trade Fair booth contest as part of the celebration of the 114th Bontoc Founding Anniversary and 18th Am-among Festival.
The trade fair ran for five days from September 12, 2022, to September 16, 2022.
The Upland cluster emerged as the First Prize winner and received a cash prize of ₱22,000.00 while ALBAGO cluster won the second place and received ₱19,000.00.
Meanwhile, the Central and Riverside clusters, third and fourth placers, received a cash prize of ₱17,000.00 and ₱15,000.00, respectively.
The criteria for judging included; 25% for Originality, 30% for Products Display, 20% for Sustainability, and 15% for Sales.
Mayor Jerome “Chagsen” Tudlong, Jr. and Assistant Treasurer Mellicynth Yodong handed over the cash prizes to the winners during the program in celebration of the 114th Bontoc Founding Anniversary and 18th Am-among Festival on September 16, 2022, at the Bontoc Municipal Capitol grounds.
