BAGUIO CITY – Bosch, a leading supplier of technology and services, officially opened its fifth business hub in the Philippines to bring its broad portfolio of consumer, commercial, and industrial solutions closer to its customers in Northern Luzon.
Located along Otek Street, this is the company’s first business hub in the northern region. The facility is equipped with a showroom, training spaces, and after-sales support for Bosch products. At present, the company’s Power Tools, Automotive Aftermarket, Building Technology, and Drive & Control division will be driving the business.
“The Baguio business hub is a testament to Bosch’s ongoing commitment to help Northern Luzon accelerate its momentum of progress,” Richard Walker, Managing Director of Bosch Philippines said.
“We are optimistic that the hub will be essential to our future business growth by providing strong support to local distributors and customers, just like our other business hubs in Taguig, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro,” he added.
Walker underscored the northern region of the Philippines holds strong growth potential in the construction, hospitality and mining industries that Bosch is able to serve with its diverse portfolio of innovative products and solutions.
With the aggressive implementation of the “Build, Build, Build” campaign announced by the government earlier this year, big-ticket infrastructure projects are on the rise and will contribute significantly to the economy of the Cordillera region. Bosch’s Power Tools division enables industry players in the construction segment to be equipped with high-performance power tools and after sales support, to drive property and real estate development initiatives.
According to him, Northern Luzon’s robust mining industry remains the hallmark of the region’s contribution to the national economic development agenda. The company’s Drive & Control division provides solutions for mobile, machinery and engineering application, factory automation as well as connected services such as condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance for mining companies. At the same time, the division also offers hydraulic technologies for hydropower & mining activities.
Bosch will also support the mining industry’s need for reliable vehicles in the transport of precious materials as well as the growing number of cars up north by providing automotive parts, diagnostic equipment, and software that caters to private, commercial and heavy-duty vehicles.
The Bosch executive pointed out attracting an estimate of one million visitors annually, tourism is also one of Baguio City’s biggest sources of revenue, as it reinforces its bid to become a meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) destination. Through the Baguio business hub, Bosch’s Building Technology division will be better positioned to provide cutting-edge audio and conference systems as well as security and safety solutions for the region’s commercial and residential establishments.
Walker assured the company’s prospective clients that the power tools, equipment parts and machineries are guaranteed to be original for the same to serve their prescribed purpose in the involved industries.
