BANGUED, Abra – A 41-yeard old man was injured after he was shot by his younger brother during a heated altercation inside their family house at Dangdangla, here, recently.\
Superintendent Mark Pespes, officer-in-charge of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Michael Carzola Bio, 41 years old, married, unemployed while he named the suspect as his younger brother, Manny Verzola Bio, of legal age and both residents of Dangdangla Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim, togehter with some companions, were having a drinking spree when the drunk suspect arrived and joined them.
At this juncture, the victim and the suspect were suddenly engaged in a heated argument that prompted the latter to draw his firearm and shot his brother once before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
