SAN FERANDO CITY, La Union March 27 – A 28-year old man was injured after he was stabbed several times on the different parts of his body by his older brother in his residence at Ilocanos Norte, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Ryan Mejal Borja, 28, married and a resident of barangay Marcos, Rosario, La Union while the suspect was named as Rey Mejal Borja, 38, married and a resident of Ilocanos Norte, San Fernando City, La Union.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspect, together with their father, were having a drinking session when a heated argument suddenly erupted between the duo that caused the suspect to stab his younger brother several times on the different parts of his body.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives for him to answer the case to be filed against him.
