SAGADA, Mountain Province – Two individuals were arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in their respective residences, here, Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila, officer-in-charge of the Mountain Province Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individuals as Bugnosen K. Dugao, 41, a resident of Dagdag, Sagada; and his elder brother James K. Dugao alias Gac-ey, 46, married, a resident of Ankileng, Sagada, Mt. Province.
The brothers were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Sergio T. Angnganay of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 36 in Tontoc for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law.
The arrested individuals were subsequently brought to the Sagada Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to their turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against them.
