The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has once again cited the Philippine Statistics Authority–Cordillera Administrative Region as this year’s recipient of Outstanding Partner for Report on Regional Economic Development. The PSA-CAR bagged this award for three consecutive years that the BSP bestowed another award to it, the Gold Hall of Fame Award for the Report on Regional Economic Developments in the Philippines.
The awards were given during the 2017 Awards Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for BSP Stakeholders last July 18, 2017 at the Convention Hall, BSP La Union Regional Office, San Fernando City, La Union. This year makes the 14th year that the BSP is honouring partners for their valuable contributions in the fulfilment of BSP’s mandate.
The PSA-CAR likewise recognises the direct contribution of its staff and the support of partner agencies that continually drive the performance of the agency in providing timely and reliable statistics to the public.
PSAC consolidates the needed data from government line agencies, local governments, the private sector, among others, and provides the public with timely information about the status of various sectors regionwide and their performance in helping improve the region’s economy. By HENT
