LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A 26-year old labourer was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after he was found to be in possession of alleged illegal drugs during a buy bust operation at Kn. 5, Pico, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Rhey Valdez Caweng alias “Cyrus”, 26, single, laborer, a native of Buguias, Benguet.
Confiscated by the operating from the arrested suspect were two transparent plastic sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, one Cherry mobile cellular phone, and P1,000.00 buy-bust money.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges that will be filed against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
