BAGUIO CITY – A 47-year old businessman was arrested by combined police operatives during the service of his warrant of arrest for charges of reckless imprudence resulting to double homicide at Purok Sadjo, Loakan Proper here Thursday.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested individual as Anthony Agner Vasquez, 47, married, businessman, and a resident of No. 175-A, Guisad Surong, Baguio City, at Purok Sadjo, Loakan Proper, Baguio City.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrested issued by Judge Bona U. Avena-Aruta of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) Branch 3 in Tubao-pugo, La Union for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting to double homicide with a recommended bail of P60,000 for his temporary liberty.
He was brought to the BCPO headquarters prior to his turnover to the issuing court for his to post the necessary bail for his temporary liberty and for the court to appropriately dispose the case filed against him.
