BAGUIO CITY – Concerned passersby found the lifeless body of a man who was believed to have been shot twice on the chest by still unidentified assailants along Outlook Drive, here, Saturday dawn.
Police described the recovered cadaver to be a male aged 32-35 years old, 5’5” in height, wearing black denim pants, black shoes, olive green polo shirt and black jacket.
Initial police investigation showed the information regarding the found dead person was reported to the police by concerned security guards of a condominium who saw the victim lying on the side of the road.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered from the crime scene two spent shells of a calibre .9mm which was allegedly used by the perpetrators in the commission of the crime.
The victim’s cadaver was brought to a local funeral parlor for the conduct of the appropriate autopsy and proper identification by their relatives.
Probers appealed to individuals with missing relatives to visit the Bahay Damayan along Marcos highway to ascertain whether or not the recovered cadaver belongs to their missing love one.
