If a person would ask locals what is new in Baguio, they might answer the same thing: cafés.
Cafés in Baguio are booming, with new establishments opening almost every month. It is evident that locals and tourists are starting to flock to the different cafés in the city.
People nowadays not only head to cafés to eat, they also utilize their time there by studying (especially when there is Wi-Fi connection) and socializing with friends. Cafés are known to have just the right ambiance where one can work by himself/herself or chat while drinking a nice cup of their favorite drinks or taking a bite of the café’s meals.
The ambiance of a place is a major consideration for people deciding which cafés to patronize. Some cafés are situated along the central business district. Some, however, are as far from the bustling streets of the city as possible while others are really hidden from the streets, making it necessary to use a map for directions.
Another thing people consider is the price range. Some cafés cater to the students, offering wallet-friendly prices while others cater to the working class, making their prices higher than others.
It is no doubt that cafés are already a part of Baguio’s landmarks and culture, making an impact in people’s daily lives as more cafés continue to open in the city.
