Calamity Assistance Package ng SSS

Magtatatlong linggo na mula ngayon nang magsimulang mag-alburoto ang bulkang Mayon sa Bikol. Mula sa datos ng reliefweb, isang pinagkakatiwalaang website pagdating sa mga sakuna sa buong mundo, umaabot na sa mahigit 10,000 pamilya na kinabibilangan ng higit 38,000 indibidwal mula sa 28 na barangay at walong bayan ang naapektuhan dito.

Hindi man natin ramdam sa Northern Luzon ang pagaalburoto ng bulkan, siguradong ang ilan sa atin ay mayroong kamag-anak, kaibigan, at kakilala ang apektado ng nasabing kalamidad. Mayroon namang taga-rito sa norte, ngunit sa Bicol mismo ang lugar ng pinagtatrabahuan. 

Nagpaabot na ng tulong ang local na pamahalaan at ilang Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) sa mga apektado nating kababayan. Sa tuwing may mga ganitong klaseng trahedya, laging handa ang SSS sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga miyembro nito. Muling binuksan ng SSS ang Calamity Assistance Package na kinabibilangan ng Calamity Loan Assistance Program at Three-Months Advance Pension noong June 22 para sa mga miyembro at pensyonado. Ito ay batay sa inilabas na SSS Circular 2023-002.

Kwalipikado ang mga miyembro at pensioners na nakatira sa mga bayan sa probinsya ng Albay tulad nang Bacacay, Camalig, Daraga, Guinobatan, Jovellary, Legazpi City, Libon, Ligao, Malilipot, Malinao, Manito, Oas, Pio Duran, Polangui, Rapu-Rapu, Sto. Domingo, Tabaco, Tiwi at iba pang lugar na maaaring ideklara ng National Disaster Risk Reducttion Management Council (NDRRMC) na nasa ilalim ng state of calamity dahil sa nasabing volcanic activity. 

Para mag-qualify sa Calamity Loan, dapat ay may hindi bababa sa 36 monthly contributions ang aplikante, anim dito ay dapat naka-post sa loob ng huling 12 buwan bago ang buwan ng filing ng aplikasyon. Maliban dito, dapat ay hindi bababa sa anim ang posted monthly contributions sa kasalukuyang coverage o membership type bago ang buwan ng filing ng loan application. Pasok sa programang ito ang mga kasalukuyang employed, self-employed, voluntary kabilang ang non-working spouses at land-based Overseas Filipino Workers members. Kung employed ang aplikante, kailangang i-certify ng kanyang employer ang CLAP application online gamit ang My.SSS Portal. 

Laging tandan na residente dapat ng NDRRMC-declared calamity area at may pagaari ito sa alin mang nabanggit na mga lugar, wala pang natatanggap na anumang final benefit gaya ng permanent total disability o retirement, at walang outstanding loan sa Loan Restructuring Program o nakaraang CLAP para magqualify sa Calamity Loan. 

Bago magsubmit ng Calamity Loan Application online gamit ang kanilang My.SSS Account, siguruhin na may UMID-ATM card o Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) participating bank account o Union Bank of the Philippines Quick Card na nakarehistro sa Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) sa kanilang My.SSS account. Alinman kasi dito ang gagawing disbursement channel para sa kanilang loan sakaling maaprubahan.

Para sa mga miyembrong nais mag-avail ng Calamity Loan Assistance Program, makakautang sila ng katumbas ng average ng iyong monthly salary credit (MSC) sa huling 12 buwan. Ang monthly salary credit naman ay ang batayan ng kabuuang kinikita ng miyembro sa loob ng isang buwan.

Ang Three-month advance pension naman ay para sa mga SSS retirement, disability at survivor pensioners, kasama ang mga EC disability at survivor pensioners nakatira sa mga idineklarang calamity area ng NDRRMC. Sa ilalim ng programang ito, matatanggap ng pensioiner nang advance ang tatlong buwang pension. Hindi kasama rito ang mga pensioners na may kasalukyang utang sa ilalim ng Pension Loan Program.

Kailangan lamang magpasa ng pensioner ng properly accomplished na Application for Assistance Due to Calamity/Disaster Form na duly certified ng kanilang Barangay Chairman; o kung wala sertipikasyon ng Barangay Chairman, maaari nilang ipasa ang nasabing form na may kasamang certification galing sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) o NDRRMC. Maaari naman nilang isumite ang nasabing requirements sa kahit saang SSS branch.
