TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 49-year old carpenter was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for rape in his residence at Dilga, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchkan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested wanted person as Robert Natividad Ventura alias “Bitak” 49, married, carpenter, and a resident of barangay Dilag, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Andrew Dulnuan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 31 of Cabaruguis, Quirino for rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted individual was brought to the Tabuk City Police Office for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
