LA PAZ, Abra – A 22-year old jobless man was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for cattle rustling at barangay Bulbulala, here, Monday.
Senior Superintendent Antonio Bartolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested wanted individual as Ariel Galera, 22, single, unemployed, and a resident of Barangay Bulbulala, La Paz, Abra.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 1 for violation of the provisions of Presidential Decree (PD) 533 or the Anti-Cattle Rustling Law with a recommended bail of P36,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was subsequently brought to the La Paz Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
